This year's Summer and Fall have felt colder than usual, the wet rain didn't help either
I had to turn on my furnace this week to keep the house temperature at 19C (20C when I'm home), otherwise it reached 16 degrees and I felt like a polar bear. Almost time to bring out the snow shovel even :)
Thankfully the long weekend will be sunny and warm

4GB RAM is overkill for Vista 32-bit
On the weekend I decided to install my spare 2x1GB DDR2 RAM and upgraded my Vista 32-bit to 4GB RAM. And because of the 32-bit limition of using maximum 3.25GB RAM, I allocated 1GB RAM as RamDisk, using RamDisk, and moved my internet temporary files to the drive. My browsing speed has improved noticably, but the OS performance was more of the same.
Advice: 2GB is more than enough for Vista 32-bit. Next time I will install Vista 64-bit to take full advantage of the 4GB RAM
So my shoulder skins started to peel off from the sun burn on our USA Trip. I couldn't remember at all the last time my skins peeled off like a thin paper. It is exciting and strange at the same time
Lastly, not to be outdone by people I know, I have a summer cold as well and actually sick enough to be sick, and took a sick day to rest. I certainly everyone will take care of himself/herself as the weather changes. Speaking of which - where did summer go?
