Overall it was a lot of walk for wife & kids and probably not as "packed" as we'd wish, but lessons learned for future - DC is a walking city, come prepared!!
Saturday
- Drove to Buffalo, using NEXUS to cross Peace bridge in 5 minutes, but the officer forgot to return 2 (out of 4) cards to us :( Home->BUF in 2 hours though
- BUF->BWI on Southwest Shamu 737-700. BWI -> DC on B30 ($7) then Green line, then RED line (construction)/shuttle to Noma
- Lunch - Sala Thai
- Nap at hotel
- Union Station-DC Circulator-long walk to Lincoln Memorial. Crazy UberX back to hotel
- Dinner - Five Guys Burger
- Hotel - Courtyard Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol (free night)
Sunday
- Smithsonian Castle, walk to the White House
- Lunch - Taco, neat place
- National Gallery of Art
- Dinner - Five Guys, McDonald's
- Hotel - Courtyard Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol (free night)
Monday
- Pack and check-out
- Lunch - Union Station, crepes & pizza
- Walk to The Capitol
- MARC train to BWI
- Dinner - BWI & Buffalo Cheesecake Factory
