So I'm trying to put BLOGGER as a part of my new website design under [Diary]. Let's see how it works
See this comment on one article about Microsoft SmartPhones
The FACT IS that in ANY MARKET MS doesn't dominate, it has a very hard time selling it's products. MSN? A money loser! X-Box? A money loser! Show me a product MS makes in a market it hasn't found an illegal method to dominate - I'll show you a product that is losing money!

Interesting graph from BusinessWeek, that average network TV rating: NFL > NASCAR > PGA > MLB > NBA > NHL (no wonder NHL is going nuts, but more golf-watchers than b-ball/hocket watchers? so hard to believe)
Ha ha, people who are interested to know what's in the Microsoft Source Code Comments, read this article!!
Quote 1 (for Maggie =P): We have to do this only because Exchange is a moron.

Finished swimming for an hour today, so tired, but I think I want to make this a routine task now to "keep fit". Although I think the walk back from club in freezing weather is harder than swimming.
It's funny that when I entered the pool, there were all females (1 middle-age mom with 2 girls, 3 other grandmoms i guess). Am I lucky? ^_^

It's Magical
Not too surprised that 9:30 pm bus is 100% full. We all had a wonderful dinner (so glad to have a good meal finally) and I enjoyed it a lot
They have "minty" toothpicks!

Days went by without me knowing and it's Friday already, nothing much happened this week anyway (literally) and we (co-op's) are bored. Last night was probably the best night of this week (because of new Friends, Apprentice, ER + Maple Leafs won 2-1 in OT), how sad?
I have all the time, but I don't know what I can do because I even finished my BusinessWeek magazines already (I caught up 3 issues this week). Maybe I should start reading LOTR books? Or planning new website/design? Or worse, thinking about work report?
I am starting to think the meaing of life.........................
Couple events to look forward to today though
1. iPod Mini hits store today at 6 pm
2. Group dinner tonight at 6 pm too (Let's see: Me, Vivian, Lairon, Ca Bol, Rachelle & Jay, Matt, Christina?)

This is very surprising, even for me who wants one badly now, iPod Mini Hits Apple Stores This Friday, 100000 On Order
So, William Hung appeared on ET tonight and other talk shows, obviously he's taking professional training and will re-appear in American Idol special. Funny, I don't know if he'll ever have an album, and that should I be happy for him, another Hung?

Interesting article, observing that M&M is more dense than spheres. Also, why don't we have a flagship Apple store in Toronto, I'd lineup to see it, but probably like as crazy as those Apple Fans Sneak Peek at Store or those. This is a fun site to visit though, hosted by someone who takes "visiting Apple Stores" as a hobby (inc. flying to Tokyo and back next day for just that)

Wow, haven't updated Blog for 3 days due to my busy work. Time just went by everyday before I realized it's either lunchtime, or home time. However, serving under 2 bosses is somewhat tricky as you might ignore the other sometimes (but that ends this week).
So, it's that Valentine's Day again, IMHO a commercial-holiday but not too bad if you have a valentine to spend with. Though this weekend is more important to me, because of NBA All-Star, not St. Valentine's Day =P

Funny quote, from iPod article, someone describing the feeling surrounded by iPod
Judging by the way some people bang on about them, their relationship with their iPods seems almost spiritual. "It has completely changed the way I listen to music," one friend tells me, with the zeal of a religious convert. "When I broke up with my boyfriend, I put my iPod on random play and the first track it selected was I Will Survive. How spooky is that?"

can't believe those stupid XX. 2 of them were racing with me on the highway....intentionally block me on fast lane (doing 100km ONLY)...when I get over him, then they pursuit me, but I let them eat my dust...
So Maggie found out the "Chinese enginner American Idol Contestant". You're welcome to take a look, and have a big laugh if you missed that on TV.

So Mike Rowe's 25-pg WIPO book ends at US $1,037.00 (however, I doubt the winning bidder is serious, given that he has only 3 feedbacks). Another interesting news iTunes sells sounds of silence--for real
I think I might have dug a hole for myself by volunteering for the project. I have to come up with a proposal to present given the business requirement (shouldn't this be the job of PM instead of a co-op? =P). However, I feel anxious and really want to challenge it, just to see if I can pull it off, and prove myself. Wish me luck (I think I'm joining Maggie in the scaryland)

Nothing much to do, spent the afternoon on more shell script, and nervous day tomorrow. Good thing that there's new TV tonight (Friends, The Apprentice, ER)
The Greyhound bus took a detour tonight, since 401 was jammed after Milton. We drove through a bunch of farms and forests where there's no car/lights around at all, quite a scenary indeed.
Saw this quote today again, still loved it so I'll share it
If you live to be 100, I want to live to be 100 minus one day, so I never have to live without you. --- Winnie the Pooh 4.7

How can someone poison dogs, with 1 dead and at least 15 sick. >_< That is "dogslaughter" and I hope that person will be caught and punished. Even if you don't love dogs, you don't have the rights to take them away from their loved ones !!!!!

Finally, the bogus bid of Mike Rowe's M$ book is back to $500 bid, with pre-authorized "serious" bidders only (I guess it caught eBay's attention). I'm surprised he's still starting at $500, which is why people bid like crazy to show their disapprovals. Sigh, just another way to make money for himself? Shame on Victoria Canadian.
Watched American Idol (summary of all the unseen auditions, when 2nd round starts tomorrow), and My Big Fat Obnicious Fiance (it is hilarious, I shall tune in next Monday too)

New Month begins, payday in 3 days, yeah!! Let's see what's on tonight, American Idol, Average Joe, My Big Fat Obnicious Fiance... I think I'll only watch American Idol, after exhausting tv-marathon last night (3pm Raptors vs. Lakers, then the long Super Bowl)
So update on Mike Rowe's book, it's at US $204,900.00 now with 3 days left, can anyone believe this this happening? Now M$ will probably start selling its own version of "legal documents" as a new business division
Ooh.... this is VERY funny, someone selling Collection of 129 Fast Food Condiments and it's at $531 US now
Other news:
Groundhog day? anybody believes that?
Read in Metro today that there's a UW Physic student, doing his 1st work term in Nunavut and he hasn't seen the sun since 01/08.
Super Bowl became bit R-rated when Janet Jackson exposed her breast (there's slideshow on Yahoo, if you're interested)
